Easy technique fix

Adjusting your grip on the bars is one of the first things we do when adjusting your technique. You want to Grip the bars similar to the way you would grip a tennis racket. A slight angle, to where your thumb is only about a 1/4” off the inside of your grip. The first thing you’ll notice when trying this  is this grip forces you to ride with your elbows up, which in return puts you a bit more over the front of the bike which puts you in a general good position on the bike to respond to mistakes correctly . If you are new to MX this will be an easy fix for you right away. Start out practicing this grip by taking slow laps with speed out of mind; just try to develop a habit of this grip. After mastering this technique, you should feel more in control of the bike
