Moving up a class (Am I ready)?

Moving up a class (Am I ready)?

If you’re currently looking to step up your game racing, a good way to improve your intensity is to jump into the next class above you. Lets say you’re currently racing the beginner class or even B class.

-

One way to go about this is to first adjust your mindset, think to yourself, “it’s going to be difficult but, I’m just going to get the best start I can, ride my best, be smart and see where I stand. Its important to leave this type of situation with a positive experience, so that should be your goal, you want to just go into your “big race/class jump” with the goal of just trying to learn and leave healthy with more experience.

-

What you’ll learn is your often not discouraged and in fact you race better with these types of goals rather than setting expectations of a certain position.

Mindset in Motocross, is in my opinion the most important component you can tune yourself.   We as riders will always deal with some sort of adversity, some we can control some we cannot. What we can do however is control how we deal with what comes our way, using this slight mind shift adjustment is just one small example of how you can do so..
